Preparing to present

Personally, today was not too eventful in terms of design-related tasks. The game is as good as finished after all and we only need to wait for our composer’s BGM. Mine and my co-designer’s main assignment for today was a rehearsal for our final game presentation on Friday. The general feedback for our presentation was positive but once again it suffered from my personal Achilles’ heel: too many unnecessary details, especially when it came to the description of all the feedback we added. It’s a valid point and I condensed our presentation down to the most important points. The obsession with details is something I really should keep an eye on, though. Next time I ask for feedback on something I will specifically ask the person if there are things I can condense further.
